Conveniently located between three of coastal Maine’s premier hospitals, we have built our group practice with our patient’s health care and convenience in mind. You have a choice: a refreshing approach to patient care.

In addition to our expanded evening hours, our providers work closely together to ensure that patients can be seen quickly at their convenience — often the same day.

Midcoast Medicine pioneered electronic medical records in coastal Maine. This allows our providers to quickly and easily share records to provide excellent continuation of care. We are pleased to see others in this area now following our lead, as this reduces health care costs for everyone.

Our full time referral staff ensures patients receive the extended care their providers feel best fits their needs. We work hard to get you in timely and appropriately. We’ve spent years building relationships with fine facilities as far as Boston to assure you’re getting the care you deserve.

Our larger number of providers has allowed us to create our own “Call Group.” This means that in an after hours/weekend emergency, you’ll be seeing one of Midcoast Medicine’s providers who will be familiar with your case.
